Dairyland’s Auto Insurance Policy

Here's what the auto insurance policy through Dairyland offers: bodily injury liability, property damage liability, uninsured motorist, medical payments, personal injury protection, collision, and comprehensive. Coverage options will vary depending on your state of residence. The cost for coverage will depend on whether you need liability only or full coverage car insurance.

SR-22 insurance is available for high-risk drivers who have DUIs, multiple driving violations, and multiple accidents. It's also for those who need a financial responsibility filing with their state’s Department of Insurance.

Non-owner car insurance is also available. This is for those who regularly drive a car they do not own. SR-22 documentation can also be obtained on a non-owner policy. This may be a less expensive option than a regular auto insurance policy for those required to obtain the SR-22 filing.

Discounts are available for Dairyland’s auto insurance policy. These can help you lower your auto premium. Discounts include: multi-car discount, advanced quote discount, transfer discount payment frequency discount, defensive driving discount, anti-theft discount, and homeowners discount.

Dairyland’s Motorcycle Insurance Policy

You can purchase a motorcycle policy for Dairyland Insurance for all types of motorcycles. This includes Harley-Davidson, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, and other popular brands. It also includes mopeds and scooters.

The motorcycle policy offers coverage for accessories; collision coverage; comprehensive; custom motorcycle coverage; trike coverage; vintage motorcycle coverage; actual agreed value option along with the standard coverage options of bodily injury liability; trip interruption coverage; uninsured motorist bodily injury; and property damage.

Discounts are available for multiple motorcycles, homeownership, motorcycle safety course completion, and rider groups membership.

Another great perk is a rider’s group discount to members of BikeBandit.com’s Bandit Buck Rewards program. It offers a 10% discount to members who have a policy or have obtained a quote through Dairyland Cycle. The physical damage plus option allows you to have your bike repaired with original equipment manufacturer parts.

Pros and Cons

For insurance customers who are considered high-risk drivers or need an SR-22 financial responsibility filing with their state’s Department of Insurance, Dairyland provides motorcycle and auto insurance with flexible payment options. Dairyland accepts drivers who may not be able to obtain coverage through a standard carrier. Low-down payment options are attractive to customers and prior insurance is not a requirement for coverage. Claims services are available 24/7 by telephone.

While the rates will likely not be the cheapest, the coverage is good. Dairyland is backed by the excellent financial stability of its parent company, Sentry Insurance. For a non-standard carrier, Dairyland does offer a good number of discount options to help you save on your insurance premium. Bilingual customer service support is available to policyholders.

There have been some complaints online regarding customer service issues. Policy coverage options, benefits, and discounts may not be available in all states. There are no online claims reporting services available.
