She writes about working at home, telecommuting, small business, writing, parenting, and fitness. Her articles have appeared on Entrepreneur.com, Yahoo! Small Business, LIVESTRONG, and more. She speaks and teaches courses on home business, blogging, freelance writing, publishing and platform building.

Leslie started her first home business in the mid-90s, and since then has built a home-based career as an online entrepreneur, author, freelance writer, and speaker. Prior to settling on an online business, she worked from home, telecommuting as a social worker.

In 1998, she started the website WorkAtHomeSuccess.com to share what she'd learned from working at home. While Leslie had been doing affiliate marketing since 1999, it wasn't until 2010, when she moved WorkAtHomeSuccess.com from a static website to a blog, that she focused on the income opportunities blogging afforded. She added a variety of informational products including books and courses, all related to working at home.

Education

Leslie has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, and a master's in social work from California State University, Sacramento.
